EQ Power Manager


POSITION SUMMARY
The EQ Power Manager (EQPM) is a key role in the Equipment Depot Power motive power sales organization. The position reports to the Director of Sales and Operations of EQ Power a division of EQ Solutions. Successful candidates must be able to direct a data-driven, software-enabled, consultative sales process to grow a robust pipeline of new business. Moreover, the EQPM must engage with end users and EQD Sales and Service teams within the assigned footprint to establish themselves as an authority in fleet energy systems designed to increase sales of hardware (batteries, chargers, accessories), services, and increase forklift sales and revenue for the assigned region.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for Effective Professional Selling Principles in the working environment. Increase overall revenues of OEM New Power Systems, Used Battery and Charger Sales, Rental & Leasing, and Dealer Aftermarket products. Increase visibility in region for both current and new customers.

Master EQ Power motive power presale software tools provided by EQ Powers OEM partners - Measure & Model - to execute power studies and make system recommendations.


Ability to use the software in front of the customer to discuss power study and simulation model results and recommendations.
Master EQ Power- power study hardware tools - Power Loggers and Gateways. Be able to install these successfully to facilitate power studies as you visit customers.


Fill out the Territory Market Map to capture all major customers (>25 trucks) , current energy brand, equipment type, and the competitive situation.


Create a strategy to sell to the customers in the Territory Market Map to grow business to meet sales goals.
Manage the end user and EQD experience as the primary point of contact to deliver the highest satisfaction, deploying EQD resources as appropriate


Proactively call on new customers and use assigned market intelligence tools to follow up on leads provided


Effectively promote and manage EQDs national accounts and OEM Partner programs in the assigned territory


Work cross functionally with major account managers, local sales managers, and additional sales personnel to effectively grow EQ Powers business through supporting activities in local markets


Travel and overnights are necessary in some territories to fully support the business objectives in the assigned territory


SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: College Degree Preferred
Experience: 2 - 5 years proven sales professional preferred. Knowledge of battery and charging systems preferred
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge and abilities of Microsoft Office products prior knowledge and use of CRM a plus
Other Requirements: Daily travel within territory and very minimal overnight travel

Work environment varies from office to job site to industrial locations
