Position Description

Front End Loader Operator

Responsible for operating a front end loader with 6’ free floating, 6’ solid or 14’ car body forks

The loader operator will move cars around the facility and will complete multiple tasks to support operations

Responsibilities include unloading car carriers, moving production racks, loading scrap cars on to trucks

The Loader Operator is required to conduct all pre-use checklist and perform small maintenance tasks on the loader

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, this position will require constant movement by the loader operator for the entire shift

Must be able to use bucket to clean up scrap and load containers

Responsible for communicating with other loader operators and Management

Will require employee to work in all weather conditions. Employee will be outside for the majority of their day

Heavy lifting may be required

Other duties as assigned by management

Prior loader experience required

Operator will operate Volvo and Komastsu loaders

Must be available to work able to work from 3:30pm to 12am and occasional weekends

Qualifications:

US Citizenship or proper documentation to work in the United States

GED or High school Diploma

Drug testing, physical, criminal background check and driving background investigations will be conducted by management prior to employment

Must have prior font end loader experience

Job Type: Full-time
