
Help Desk Specialist
We are currently seeking a Help Desk Specialist technician to join our team!
We are a growing cybersecurity and IT company supporting small to mid-size businesses locally, nationally and internationally.
The candidate would have to flexibility to work from home completely, work in our office, or a mixture of both.
The candidate needs to have very strong customer service and technical abilities. Must be a self-starter and focus on first time resolution of service issues. Ability to escalate tickets in the proper method to ensure high level of customer satisfaction is a must.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with server, software, networking, firewall, phones, and tablets remotely
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, chat, electronically
- Recommend hardware and software improvements to clients
- Track customer issues and resolutions to completion
- Escalate tickets in a timely manner and when needed
- Close all tickets in a timely manner with correct detail, grammar
- Perform other projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years previous experience in IT help desk service
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in fast paced, high performance environment
- Ability to multitask on multiple tickets and shift priorities as required
- Attention to details
Skills
- Strong experience in TCP/IP network skills
- Strong knowledge of Office 365, One Drive, Teams and SharePoint
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10
- Experience with Cisco Meraki
- Experience with email filtering technologies
- Experience with advanced endpoint protection technologies
- Experience with backup technologies
- Experience with iPhone and iPad
- Experience with Android phones and tablets
- Experience with local and network printing troubleshooting and resolution
- Experience with managed malware/anti-virus software and removal
- Experience with Apple desktops and laptops helpful
- Experience Windows 2016 and Windows 2019
- Experience with VMWare
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
