HRIS Implementation / HR Solutions Specialist

This position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday (hours to be determined but during business hours)

Position Location: Remote work is offered knowing that some time in the office may be required, and/or a return to a hybrid office environment in the near future. We will also consider applicants for 100% remote work if your geographical location is outside our area, but job qualifications are met.

Job Summary:

The HR Solutions Specialist plays a key role in demonstrating, implementing, training, and supporting Primepoint’s various HR solutions such as On-boarding/Workflow, Recruitment, Benefits Administration, and general employee management within HR/Payroll. The Specialist also supports the HR processing needs of Primepoint’s clients. This requires understanding the clients’ challenges and developing, communicating and implementing solutions using various system resources. Solutions can be a combination of procedures and technology to allow customers and Primepoint to operate efficiently.


  • Serve as a consultative business partner to the Sales Team in providing your expert guidance and demoing Primepoint’s various HR Solutions to new and existing clients.
  • Work directly with clients to on-board them during implementation by providing training at the client’s location, using remote technology, or by hosting training sessions at Primepoint’s facilities.
  • Work directly with clients, with other Primepoint staff, or independently to configure the system and setup the initial data required for the solutions.
  • Work directly with clients/prospects to support HR related needs and assist in designing solutions using Primepoint’s technology.
  • Work closely with Primepoint’s ACA clients to implement and support the ACA Solution which includes system configuration, training clients on using and maintaining the system, and converting and importing data.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to clients on the use of Primepoint’s HR systems remotely and in person.
  • Stay abreast of the latest HR technologies through networking, HRIS user groups, and professional associations.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Human Resource needs and challenges of small, mid-sized, and large businesses.
  • Proficient in MS Office (primarily Excel), web browsers, and all of Primepoint’s technology-related products.
  • Strong comfort with computer systems to include experience with auditing and manipulating large-scale data
  • Clear ability to think through and solve problems step by step; looking beyond the obvious solution to a problem.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working with multiple clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to establish trust with leaders and colleagues.
  • Work independently and efficiently to meet client-driven deadlines.
  • Able to think analytically and have excellent problem solving skills.
  • Able to promptly answer support-related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) skills: interpersonal, organizational, and presentation.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and ability to take initiative.
  • Great customer service skills to include the ability to handle clients with patience and tolerance
  • Payroll processing knowledge is a plus

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (HR or Information Systems preferred) or equivalent relevant experience required. Professional Certification a plus (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR, CPP)
  • Previous experience with onboarding new clients for payroll providers

Ideal candidate:

The successful candidate will have general Human Resource knowledge, a strong comfort with computer systems and technology, will be able to work well with people with a broad range of technical abilities, and will show the ability to be organized, bringing projects and tasks to completion. This self-starter will be able to work in an environment with multiple, changing work priorities, and must be able to work within those deadlines. Having payroll processing knowledge will be a plus.
