Purpose of the Position

Landscape Crew Members are responsible for completing landscape maintenance assignments and maintaining vehicles, equipment, and tools. They will follow the direction provided by the leaders of the Landscape division. Landscape Crew Members are committed to performing all duties in alignment with company safety policies.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

· Complete lawn maintenance, irrigation or snow removal work based on the directives provided by Manager, Field Supervisor and Crew Leader.

· Maintain a clean job site, orderly and stocked equipment trailer.

· Maintain and care for company equipment, tools and vehicles including weekly cleaning/care.

· Understand and comply with job time schedules and meet allotted job guidelines.

· Complete all work in accordance with safety and company guidelines.

· Weeding and policing job site.

· Complete documentation in a timely manner based on requests from Manager, Field Supervisor or Crew Leader.

· Attend training classes and seminars as requested by management.

· Perform other tasks or projects as assigned/instructed by Field Supervisor or Manager.

· Utilize technology as required by the company.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Experience or willingness to learn in the landscaping industry.

· Valid Driver’s License.

· Excellent communication skills for conveying and receiving accurate information.

· Ability to think critically and have clear direction in an environment of change and under stress.

· Act as a mentor to new crew members and a good team player.

· Ability to understand actions of individuals and respond appropriately.

· Ability to think critically and to contribute with tactical and strategic planning.

· Ability to write reports and correspondences.
