Maintenance Technician


Delaware River Partners LLC (DRP), a Fortress Transportation and Infrastructure company (FTAI – NYSE), has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Technician.  DRP is a private port and rail terminal in southern New Jersey that handles liquified petroleum gas (LPG) storage and distribution for both local and international markets.  The Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) position provides electrical and mechanical maintenance work and field operations support for Repauno Port & rail Terminal. The E&M role is a multi-craft position focused primarily on electrical and mechanical duties and will be based at our Gibbstown site. 


• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment as assigned, including pumps and motors, compressors, gauging devices, manual and electronic control valves, electrical valve actuators, electrical switchgear and other plant equipment.

• Conduct and document equipment inspections.

• Verify instrumentation loop circuits.

 Installation and maintenance of various equipment associated with Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) loading systems.

 Successfully and effectively follow all health, safety, security, environmental (HSSE) and operational and maintenance practices and procedures.

 Participate in all emergency response training, including Hazwoper, RCRA, respiratory and other as required.

 Follow safe and proper protocol, including lock out tag out procedures, in preforming normal maintenance for the LPG loading system.

 Be motivated and accountable for achieving long-term and day- to-day goals and tasks.

 Effectively manage time and resources, while having the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

 Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed but not limited to eye/face protection, flame retardant clothing (FRC), foot protection, gloves, hearing protection, head protection, etc.

 Work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary and be available for call-outs, including emergency response situations.


 High School diploma or GED

• Valid driver’s license

 TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials)

 Two-year technical degree for electrical and instrumentation, or 5 years direct work-related experience.

 Basic computer skills (including MS Office Suites).

 Must be willing to work overtime up to 20-30%.

 Meet all DOT/TCPA requirements, including Operator Qualifications.

 Strong experience in Electrical and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming or pump and motor repair.

 Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer.
