Medical Office Manager


Position Summary:


This is a full-time position responsible for complete oversight of administrative operations and team members for a growing psychiatric healthcare company.


As Practice Manager, you will:


  • Work closely with the executive team and actively participate in the business planning process for strategic development, integrations and expansion of services
  • Responsible for providing the strategic direction for practice discipline across non-clinical operations, including patient care delivery, workflow, root cause analysis, and quality improvement in collaboration with department leadership
  • Develop the business plan for optimizing provider schedules considering insurance participation and reimbursement models
  • Determine, measure, and monitor key performance indicators for each practice, analyze variances, provide summaries for key stakeholders and implement corrective action to improve results
  • Establish and drive clear objectives and metrics for efficacy, optimization, and standardization across practices and talk to the results of process improvements
  • Manage multiple practice locations, support company onboarding, create training plan, define measures of success, and provide oversight of day-to-day staff
  • Work cross functionally with credentialing, nursing and physician leadership to develop and implement medical group policies, protocols, and standard operating procedures
  • Maximize utilization and patient access to provide an excellent patient experience through process and customer service
  • Coordinate resources as needed to support effective technology improvements, patient experience and practice operations


Necessities for Success:


  • Three to five years of experience in healthcare operations, working in collaboration with clinicians to ensure full alignment of the clinical care delivery model
  • In-depth knowledge of medical insurances and reimbursements, EHRs, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite
  • Flexibility in working schedule and location based on schedules of practices and needed oversight
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts and communicate information
  • Knowledge seeker looking to thrive in a startup environment
  • Ability to empathize with key stakeholders and strengthen relationships
  • Strong commitment to the employee, patient experience, and customer service
