Sales Representative - Core Market (CMS)

Primepoint is currently seeking a Core Market Sales Representative (CMS) to develop and grow Primepoint's small business (companies with less than 50 employees) market share in the greater Philadelphia, PA region. As part of the Primepoint sales team, which currently consists of 4 veteran (average tenure is 12 years) sales representatives, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining a high level of prospecting activity using a variety of methods, i.e. telemarketing, participation and networking in various B2B organizations, establishing channel partners relationships (accountants, bookkeepers, insurance brokers, etc) and membership in Primepoint-sanctioned business/industry associations. The candidate will follow the sales process of conducting thorough needs assessments, demonstrating applicable technology, delivering professional, effective proposals, and driving the sales processes to closure. In short, the candidate will work to uncover and close payroll and related services exclusively for Primepoint.

The successful candidate will have strong people and communication skills. The candidate will have a proven track record of easily building relationships, quickly establishing trust, listening intently and always recommending solutions in the best interest of the client. The candidate will embody the highest standard of professionalism and character.

Responsibilities for the position will include:

  • Prospect for potential customers to schedule virtual or face-to-face meetings to assess the customer's payroll & HRIS needs relative to the characteristics of their business
  • Produce proposals, sell solutions, demonstrate technology (when necessary) and close the sale
  • Meet or exceed sales expectations

To qualify, the ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, or marketing or equivalent education and experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish strong relationships to build channel partners that can source openings into the small business market

Compensation includes base salary, commission, and expense allowance as well as an attractive benefits package. The successful CMS will also be eligible for renewal commissions and bonuses.

Job Location: Flexible: Primarily remote (local travel when appropriate)
