CCSNJ Elevates Key Staff to Leadership Roles

VOORHEES, NJ - The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ) announces the promotion of two key staff members, Heather Sanderson to assistant vice president and Stefanie Sutton to director of special events effective immediately. These promotions reflect each of their exceptional performance, dedication and overall contributions to the CCSNJ.
In this elevated role, Heather will report directly to CCSNJ President & CEO Christina Renna and lead the organization’s Membership Division, which is responsible for strategic member recruitment, member retention and member satisfaction. Prior to joining the CCSNJ staff in 2021, she was an active member of the organization with her previous employer, DocuVault Delaware Valley, LLC, where she served as business development manager. At that time Heather served as a member of the CCSNJ Ambassador Committee where she volunteered to mentor and engage new CCSNJ members.
“Throughout her tenure at the CCSNJ, Heather has consistently gone above and beyond assuring the CCSNJ’s loyal members have a direct point of contact for their needs and requests. In her new role leading the Division, I am confident she will continue her proactive approach to assuring our valued members are satisfied with their CCSNJ membership, while using her strategic vision to grow our membership base and retain those organizations actively involved,” stated Christina Renna.
“I am eager to transition into a leadership role to oversee the diverse functions of the membership division. By dedicating a team to engage directly with our members, we can better align with their needs and enhance our overall strategy,” Sanderson stated. “Through focused recruitment and fostering strong relationships with our members, we aim to continuously discover new ways to add value and drive the growth of our organization.”
Reporting to CCSNJ’s Executive Vice President Meredith Lorrilliere, Stefanie will lead the Special Events Division, which is responsible for the planning and execution of the organization’s more than 100 special events annually to ensure that each event meets member expectations. Stefanie joined the CCSNJ as an event coordinator in February 2020 having previously served as an event coordinator and office manager for the National Museum of Jewish American History. Stefanie also served in multiple elevating roles with AIGA Philadelphia, the oldest and largest professional membership organization for design professionals, most recently serving a two-year term as the organization’s president from 2021 until 2023.
“Stefanie joined our team at a pivotal time for the organization and was integral in helping the organization navigate a new landscape of virtual events and return to in-person events,” said Ms. Lorrilliere. “Her careful planning, creative promotion and exceptional execution of events enables our organization to keep raising the bar on a productive and meaningful experiences for our members.”
Sutton stated, “I am honored to step into the role of Director of Special Events and excited to continue creating events that bring value and lasting connections to CCSNJ members. I look forward to building on the Chamber's success and working alongside our exceptional team to deliver high-quality events for the South Jersey business community.”
