Ranked: Top chambers of commerce across New Jersey
The Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey leads the state’s chamber landscape with 10,000 members, established in 1989. Princeton Mercer Regional Chamber of Commerce, founded in 1868, ranks second with 1,600 members, serving Central Jersey and parts of Pennsylvania.
The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey, established in 1873, occupies the third position. It represents seven southern New Jersey counties, greater Philadelphia and northern Delaware with 1,200 members. The Meadowlands Chamber of Commerce ranked fourth, covering the Greater Meadowlands region with 1,120 members.
Two chambers share the fifth place: the African American Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey and the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, each with 1,000 members. The New Jersey State Veterans Chamber of Commerce and Somerset County Business Partnership tie for seventh place with 900 members.
The list continues with specialized chambers serving specific regions. Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, Morris County Chamber of Commerce as well as Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce represent local business interests. Smaller chambers like Hunterdon County and Sussex County chambers maintain 500 members each.
The data reveals a diverse network of chambers spanning geographic regions, industry focuses and community representations. These organizations provide platforms for business connections, support and regional economic development across New Jersey.
