Singleton to Host Small Business Assistance Event in Mt. Laurel This Week
MOUNT LAUREL, NJ — Senator Troy Singleton is partnering with the New Jersey Business Action Center (NJBAC) to host a Small Business Assistance Event called "How to Grow and Fund Your Business" this week in Mount Laurel.
The event is taking place on Friday, May 31 from 8AM to 11AM at Rowan College at Burlington County's Student Success Center, located at 1500 College Circle.
The event will feature a presentation and interactive discussion by NJBAC's Executive Director, Melanie Willoughby, who will speak about how small business owners can connect with government agencies and gain access to and apply for business assistance programs.
Several state and county agencies and South Jersey organizations will be on hand, including Senator Singleton's office, NJBAC, the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, Burlington County Bridge Commission, Small Business Administration, New Jersey Department of Treasury, Retire Ready NJ, New Jersey Division of Alcoholic Beverage Control, New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs, Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey and the National Association of Women Business Owners of South Jersey.
Attendees can visit with organizations and learn about resources available to business owners and complete assistance applications on site.
