The NJ Business Action Center Is Hosting A Small Business Resource Event On September 21st

More than 15 state agencies and partners will meet with New Jersey companies on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Rowan College, Burlington County campus in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

The New Jersey Business Action Center is relaunching its free business resource event in partnership with the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, the Southern NJ Chamber of Commerce and the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Pre-registration is required: https://NJBACResourcesforGrowth.eventbrite.com

“Small businesses are the heart of the New Jersey economy; We are home to nearly a million small businesses employing nearly 1.9 million workers,” said New Jersey Secretary of State Tahesha Way. “They are critical to the economic vitality of the state, and identifying resources to ensure their continued success will help secure New Jersey’s economic future.”

“NJBAC has hosted these quarterly, regional events nationwide for the past 12 years,” notes Melanie Willoughby, executive director of NJBAC. “After a two-year hiatus, we want to make sure entrepreneurs are aware of the great resources that are available across the country to help them achieve their business goals.”

Participating state agencies include: The New Jersey Economic Development Agency; the Ministry of Finance; Department of Labor and Human Resource Development, Board of Public Utilities and State Library. Small Business Development Centers and Chambers will also have resource tables.

The event is open to startups and existing companies and owners will have time to network and network with agencies in person and learn about topics ranging from funding and contracting or certification to hiring and energy rebates.
