For over 75 years Easterseals New Jersey has worked to meet the evolving needs of people with disabilities and their families through a wide range of life-changing programs and services designed to promote independence, inclusion, and access. Workforce Development strives to build strong partnerships with employers across the state. Our missions is to create meaningful opportunities, reduce barriers to employment, and help businesses connect with motivated, job-ready candidates.

Through our Supported Employment and Career Pathway Connections (Deaf and Hard of Hearing) programs, Easterseals NJ provides no-cost workforce development services to employers and job seekers throughout New Jersey, including members of the Deaf, DeafBlind, hard-of-hearing, and disability communities. We partner with employers across a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, government, retail, warehouse, food service, and more. Services include candidate recruitment and matching, workplace accommodation guidance, ASL interpreters when needed, on-the-job coaching, workplace analysis, onboarding support, and disability inclusion training designed to help employers build more accessible and successful workplaces. All Easterseals NJ services are at no cost to the employer. Job candidates are referred to us through the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation and are legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
