Governor Murphy Unveils Restart and Recovery Advisory Council: CCSNJ Appointed to Serve

On May 8, Governor Phil Murphy unveiled the Restart and Recovery Advisory Council, a New Jersey specific Advisory Council comprised of industry leaders to advise the administration on be immediate questions surrounding the safe restart of New Jersey’s economy. The Advisory Council will be comprised of 9 industry specific committees, and will be chaired by Choose NJ CEO Jose Lozano, the NJ Economic Development Authority CEO Tim Sullivan, and Secretary of Higher Education Dr. Zakiya Smith Ellis.

The CCSNJ was proud to have our President and CEO Christina Renna appointed to the Main Street Committee.

This Advisory Council will complement the work of the Governor’s Restart and Recovery Commission, a commission charged with advising the administration on the timing and preparation for New Jersey’s recovery from the COVID-19 shutdown.
