Hosted by: Victim's Impact Services Incorporated, The Sentencing Foundation, and Staying the Course Incorporated
This event is invitation only. Pre-registration is required
Objective: To provide a platform for formerly incarcerated individuals with life sentences to share their stories and experiences, with the aim of deterring others from engaging in violent behaviors and criminal activities.
Moderator: Michel Frantz- Formerly incarcerated with a life sentence as a non violent drug
offender. Founder of Guns Down
Guest Speakers:
1. Akbar Pray- Formerly incarcerated, now an advocate for criminal justice reform.
Founder of the Akbar Pray Foundation for Change
2. Walter Johnson aka TUT- Once served a life sentence, currently a mentor and public speaker.
3. Gerald Prince Miller - Ex-offender, now a community leader and motivational speaker.

1. Welcome and Introduction (4:00 PM - 4:10 PM)

3. Guest Speaker 2: Walter Johnson (4:35 PM - 5:00 PM)
- Experiences of serving a life sentence and the transformation process.
- Strategies for avoiding the pitfalls that lead to criminal behavior.
4. Guest Speaker 3: Gerald Prince Miller (5:00 PM - 5:25 PM)
- Insights on reintegration into society and the role of community support.
- Encouraging messages for at-risk individuals.
5. Q&A Session (5:25 PM - 5:50 PM)
