Developer-Centric Application Security, aka Dev[Sec]Ops - Panel Discussion

Wednesday, March 15, 2023 (5:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

CSA and Contrast Security presents a DevSecOps Panel Discussion with reputable local SME's. Eat, drink, network and tour Netrality!

At many organizations, the security function remains one of gatekeeping, policing, and cajoling. At the same time, it’s generally acknowledged that this approach cannot keep up with the accelerating pace of software development. It suffers from its confrontational nature which is at odds with modern software development culture. A vast chasm between knowing you need a better way and knowing what that better way is typically is the problem, never mind getting there. Join us for a panel and we'll map out the path forward from leaders who have already crossed that chasm and implemented developer-centric application security.
