Friday, September 17, 2021 (6:30 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Are you getting ready to embark on the college admissions process with your teenager and have a lot of questions? With 20 years of admissions experience at your service, we offer you an objective perspective from an expert. During this in-person workshop, you will learn what pitfalls to avoid and how to create compelling applications for colleges. We will cover the following topics:  How do I write an essay that stands out? How do I select the best college for my major? What questions should I ask college admissions representatives? How do I navigate the financial aid process? Where can I find new scholarship sources?

Also, you will tour the YARD Sciences STEM lab that teaches high schoolers how to mutate DNA and complete surgeries on silicone cadavers. (Masks are required)
