Join Hopeworks Interns virtually as they help you build your own personal website. Harris Osserman of Talk Hiring will lead a workshop and Hopeworks interns will walk you through the steps of designing and building your personal website. 

When: Wednesday, August 5, 2020, 4:30-5:30 p.m. (instructor available for assistance until 6 p.m.). Your $30 registration fee will benefit Hopeworks! You Google people and people Google you. Personal websites are great for building and managing your online brand and credibility. By making your own website, you’ll be sharing your unique experiences and strengths with the world. Sure, LinkedIn can accomplish some of these goals, but a personal website is much more dynamic, personalized, and ultimately, more impressive. Why do I want a personal website? Share your unique experiences and expertise, build your personal brand, and manage your online presence. Job searching? Sharing your expertise on a personal website helps you stand out from the crowd. Recruiters love seeing professional and unique personal websites. Workshop Objective: At the end of the session, you will have a personal website, published to the internet, and will have the knowledge of how to add and improve your website going forward!
