The one-day JA Inspire Career Expo transforms middle and early high school students’ abstract ideas about work into tangible ambitions and plans. Local business teams offer learning experiences designed to give students a glimpse into their world of work. Unlike traditional career fairs, the students, not the employers, conduct interviews. Representatives explain what skills will be in demand when students graduate, and offer students hands-on activities, often using actual equipment or tools their own employees use on the job.  

All students prepare for the event through teacher-led curriculum, which aligns to NJ education standards for 21^st century life and careers. Students will receive a guide that will include information about your company, industry, or organization.

JA Inspire Career Fairs are one-of-a-kind career exploration in-person events for New Jersey students. This exciting initiative brings together various industries, companies, and employee volunteer role models to show students firsthand available careers and their pathways. JA will engage thousands of young people, and with your commitment to host an interactive table and share your time to meet with students, they will believe in their boundless potential as they prepare for their futures.
