NJ PACT Seminar

Description

The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection plans to release new Coastal Zone Management rules in line with New Jersey Protecting Against Climate Threats (NJ PACT) regulatory mandates. The NJPACT rule proposals add climate change protections that will greatly impact future development in the Coastal Zone requiring NJDEP permits including residential, commercial, and public development.

Learn first-hand from NJDEP representatives State Flood Plan Administrator Vincent Mazzei and Deputy Commissioner Sean Moriarty who will offer a presentation of the proposed rules.

District 1 New Jersey Senator Michael Testa and District 2 New Jersey Senator Vince Polistina will follow the presentation to discuss the economic and social challenges these rules will have on their respective Legislative Districts. A Q&A session will follow the program.
