Rowan In Our Communities Summit

The Legislative District 1 Office would like to formally invite you to our “Rowan in Our Communities'' Summit on August 17, 2022 at the Guaracini Performing Arts Center at Rowan College of South Jersey’s Cumberland campus. This event will bring together elected officials, community groups, and local businesses to discuss how Rowan University and its community colleges can have a positive impact on all of Cumberland County. We will offer those who attend this event an opportunity to speak with the President of Rowan University, Dr. Ali Houshmand, about how Rowan can help ease the many difficulties that our county is facing coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic. This includes job creation, help for small businesses, and assisting our community groups.

            This event will display the many benefits that Rowan and its community colleges can provide to Cumberland County. Rowan is looking to aid local businesses in need of educated employees as well as students looking for an affordable and high-quality education which will lead to a lasting career. Through these connections we hope to create opportunities and improve local economies across Cumberland County.
