Training: There is no prep work required for volunteers. A volunteer mentor guide is attached, and a printed copy will be available at the event.

A light breakfast and boxed lunch will be provided.

9:15 AM – Volunteer Arrival & Networking Breakfast

9:30 AM – Student Arrival / Check-In

10:00 AM – 10:05 AM – Welcome & Overview

10:05 AM – 10:50 AM – Panel Discussion (45 minutes)

10:50 AM – 11:30 AM – Career Preparation: Elevator Pitch (40 minutes)

Students create and share their personal elevator pitch with their table.

11:30 AM – 12:10 PM – Collaboration & Creativity: GRPI Model (40 minutes)

Students work in teams to design and build a structure using the provided materials while applying the GRPI teamwork model.

12:10 PM – 12:50 PM – Networking Lunch (40 minutes)

12:50 – 1:20 PM – Job Interview Techniques – STAR Method (30 minutes)

Students practice answering behavioral interview questions using the STAR method.

1:20 PM – Closing Remarks
