219th Legislative Session COVID-19 Legislative Updates Legislative Updates

On November 16, Governor Murphy announced he will sign an Executive Order imposing additional COVID-19 restrictions.

Effective tomorrow, November 17 at 6 a.m., indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people. However, religious services/celebrations, political events, weddings, funerals/memorial services and performances may continue under the current rules – limited to 25% of a room’s capacity, up to 150 people.

Indoor sports practices or competitions will be allowed to exceed the 10-person limit – only for individuals necessary, such as players, coaches, and referees. In most cases, where those necessary individuals exceed 10 people, spectators will not be permitted.

The Executive Order also limits outdoor gatherings to 150 people, effective November 23.

We will share the Governor’s Executive Order once it is released.
