NJ Business Coalition Hosts Virtual Town Hall

Legislative Updates General Business

On October 22 at 9:30 a.m., the NJ Business Coalition, of which the CCSNJ is a member, held a virtual town hall, which consisted of business owners from various industry sectors who discussed their unique challenges and struggles to remain operational amid the pandemic.

CCSNJ members Bob Wagner of Braddock’s Tavern in Medford and Ott’s of Medford, Berlin and Washington Township, Roy Fazio of The Protocall Group, and Joe Cleary and Denise Beckson of Morey’s Piers and Water Parks in Wildwood spoke to their specific industries' ongoing challenges amid the pandemic.

Business owners in the town hall told policymakers, several of which participated in the event, what type of assistance they need in order to sustain through COVID-19 and expressed numerous frustrations about capacity levels, strict and unclear regulations and lack of assistance from state government officials.
