Boys & Girls Club of Gloucester County Welcomes New Board Member David Sullivan, CPA



Glassboro, NJ, February 28, 2023 – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County is welcoming David Sullivan, CPA into its Board of Directors. The current Board of Directors approved his nomination on Tuesday, February 21, 2023.

Dave Sullivan, CPA is a manager at Mercadien, P.C., Certified Public Accountants, and a member of its Compliance Oversight Services Group. He has over ten years’ experience specializing in audit and compliance engagements, performing agreed-upon procedures, performance audits, consulting services, and internal controls testing for various state entities and private companies.

Dave is responsible for managing and performing government compliance services on behalf of larger clients, including various state departments, boards and authorities, which have included New Jersey’s State Parole Board, Economic Development Authority, Election Law Enforcement Commission, Department of Transportation and Division of Medical Assistance & Health Services. He also has experience with internal audit functions for banking clients as well as conducting general overhead rate audits, completed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation, for architectural and engineering firms. Dave is well-versed in AICPA Professional Standards as well as Government Auditing Standards.

Mr. Sullivan was born and raised in South Jersey, attending Rutgers School of Business—Camden and currently resides in Gloucester Township, NJ.


Who is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County? 


The Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to serving the youth in Gloucester County. The organization was founded in 2005 and is part of a network of 4,300 Boys & Girls Clubs, including 22 in New Jersey. Its mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. It has two Club locations in both Paulsboro and Glassboro. The organization has academic, health & wellness, financial literacy, and character-building programs to help put its Club members on a path to success.
