Camden’s Campbell’s Company pledges $1M in community grants

Camden-based The Campbell’s Company and The Campbell’s Foundation have pledged $1 million in Community Impact Grants to 50 non-profit organizations, including six in Camden.

This represents the grant program’s largest single-year annual investment.

The grants support the Foundation’s strategic focus areas: increasing food access, encouraging healthy living, and strengthening neighborhoods.

This year, grants will support organizations in 32 communities where Campbell’s has operations, with each recipient receiving $20,000 to support their operations and programming.

Campbell’s has pledged more than $2.9 million for fiscal 2026.

There are 50 Campbell’s employees who play a central role at every stage of the grant program.

The local nonprofits were nominated by Campbell’s employees and reviewed by the Foundation’s employee-led executive committee.

2026 grant recipients include 20 returning organizations and 13 first-time grantees. Grant funding will support food pantries, nutrition education initiatives, community gardens, and physical activity programs.

The Camden-based 2026 Community Impact Grant Recipients include The Heart of Camden, Inc.The Neighborhood Center, the New Jersey Agricultural Society, the LUCY OutreachUrbanPromise, and The Food Trust.

Last October, The Campbell’s Company appointed Todd Cunfer as executive vice president and chief financial officer.
