The Book Bank is scaling up into a new, exciting phase. With our new-found source, we are now receiving up-cycled children's books by the truckload on a weekly basis. We pay for most of these pallets, and we sometimes trade ton-for-ton for donated grown-up book donations and estate libraries. Bottom line, we need your adult book donations.
Help us spread the word to more teachers to register for our Teacher-Take program, especially those new educators just entering the profession! A yearly registration of $25 allows a teacher to visit the Book Bank and take hundreds of books for their students and classroom libraries throughout the school year. Please connect us with food pantries, nonprofits, and churches that might distribute our books!
Celebrate with us by joining our Second Annual BookSmiles 5K Run & 1 Mile Walk For Literacy happening August 25! And if you can't make it, you can donate money through the race site which you'll find below. The Book Bank doesn't "run" on book donations alone!
To Literacy!

Please feel free to share this with any educator you know! It's a great way for those just entering the field to start the year with a wonderful classroom library for their students.
