Expanding Behavioral Healthcare Access in New Jersey though the Advantage Behavioral Health Network

New Jersey – The owners of the New Jersey based behavioral healthcare companies, Harmony Bay Wellness and Victory Bay Recovery Center, are pleased to announce the formation of their healthcare Network, Advantage Behavioral Health Network (ABHN). With a mission of offering accessible, effective, and empathetic behavioral healthcare services, the Network provides a growth platform that will allow for thoughtful and organized expansion of behavioral healthcare services to more people in New Jersey.

At its core, the Network provides centralized, efficient support services, such as IT, accounting, marketing, HR, and operations, to the business units under the Network. The new structure provides significant benefit to staff and patients. Centralized, separate support services allow the companies within the Network to better focus on providing quality clinical care. The result is improved patient outcomes and a seamless service experience.

ABHN has been in planning and development for over 18 months, officially launching July 1, 2020. “We are excited about the opportunities afforded through the organization and efficiencies created by our Network. Our plans for continued growth as a behavioral health network will help more New Jerseyans get access to the substance use and mental health treatment they so desperately need”, explained AJ Solomon, Co-Founder of ABHN and New Jersey native.

Currently, three New Jersey companies (business units) belong to Advantage Behavioral Health Network:

  • Victory Bay Recovery Center - Located in Laurel Springs, New Jersey, Victory Bay was the first company established among the three business units. It is an outpatient drug and alcohol addiction treatment center providing effective treatment to the South Jersey adult population. Offering IOP and OP programs that are individualized to each client through a wide range of available services and treatment types.
  • Harmony Bay Wellness – The most recently opened business unit, Harmony Bay Wellness is an outpatient mental healthcare provider in South Jersey that opened in April 2020. Harmony Bay treats a range of mental health conditions, both in-person and online, through therapy, medication-assisted treatment, and holistic integrative wellness. Harmony Bay is built on the belief that wellness of the mind, body, and spirit is foundational to living a full life.
  • Dignity Hall – Dignity Hall manages structured sober living homes in South Jersey built on the principles of trust, honesty, and respect. Residents and staff motivate and encourage each member of the house to keep focused on the path to recovery in a clean, safe, and accepting environment.

All Companies under Advantage Behavioral Health Network remain under the same ownership by AJ Solomon (Co-Founder), Brent Reese (Co-Founder), and Chris McGoldrick (Co-Owner and VP of Operations). Five advisory board members provide expertise and consulting for the Network, AJ Sabath, Alyson Leone, Jim Angle, Rich Smith, and Lou Greenwald.

With the announcement of the Network comes the opening of a new admin building that serves as the headquarters for the Network. The new building shares a parking lot with Victory Bay Recovery Center and Harmony Bay Wellness, resulting in a modern and accessible campus for behavioral health services. The admin building came out of a need for more space for administrative employees that work under the Network. The Network is growing rapidly and constantly hiring top talent in New Jersey. The new building at 1401 Chews Landing Rd in Laurel Springs, NJ frees up space for clinical operations at both Victory Bay and Harmony Bay.

Collectively, the network aims to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and addiction treatment while also expanding access to behavioral healthcare services. Solomon stated, “the need for behavioral healthcare services in New Jersey is overwhelming. The population is underserved, due in part to the stigmas around getting help and the lack of providers and wait times to get a therapy or treatment appointment. We are on a mission to break down those stigmas to make behavioral healthcare feel more accessible and less shaming.”

All companies under the Advantage Behavioral Health Network are accepting new patients and clients. ABHN is also developing referral partnerships with local healthcare practitioners and practices across New Jersey. Additionally, the Network is building relationships with New Jersey employers, partnering to provide mental healthcare services to employees.
