Innovation and Growth
CAMDEN, NJ., 9/02/2026 - Today, IPAK announced the appointment of Janet Godwin, former Chief Executive Officer of ACT, to its Strategic Advisory Board. Godwin will advise IPAK's leadership team on growth initiatives, market expansion, and long-term planning as the company builds on more than 30 years serving education and life sciences, government and other mission-critical markets.
Godwin brings deep experience in executive leadership, organizational change, and customer engagement from her 35-year career at ACT, one of the nation's most recognized education organizations. Rising through the organization from operational leadership roles to Chief Operating Officer and ultimately Chief Executive Officer, Godwin helped guide ACT through a period of modernization, transformation, and an expanded focus on workforce readiness and career success.
"We are honored to welcome Janet to IPAK's Strategic Advisory Board," said Karen Primak, CEO of IPAK. "When Janet and I first met in 2018, it was truly Midwest meets New Jersey. Different backgrounds, but the same instinct for creating opportunity and making an impact. In the years since, I've watched her steer an organization through real change. Janet and IPAK share a commitment to education, workforce development, and lifelong learning and that common ground is where our next wave of products and services will come from."
IPAK's Strategic Advisory Board brings together accomplished business and industry leaders who provide independent perspectives to help the company identify new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, bring new solutions to market faster, and enhance its competitive position.
“Karen's vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and drive to create lasting value for customers and communities set IPAK apart," said Godwin. "IPAK has built a remarkable reputation for ingenuity, operational excellence, and customer service in the education sector. I look forward to helping the team build on those strengths, deepen the value it provides to customers, and thoughtfully extend its reach into new markets.”
