
Free Training for New Jersey Employers
The Workplace Literacy and Basic Skills Training Program is a partnership with the New Jersey Community College Consortium for Workforce and Economic Development, and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. The training is available to all New Jersey businesses and organizations.
Rowan College of South Jersey offers basic skills training in:
Communications (written, verbal, and customer service)
Team Building
Time Management
Team Leadership
Supervisory/Management Skills
Measurements/Mathematics
English as a Second Language (three levels)
Spanish for Managers and Spanish in the Workplace (two levels)
PC Skills: Windows, MS Office 365, Excel, PowerPoint
Databases, PC Data Storage, and Cloud computing
RCSJ can deliver the training to your employees either with Dedicated classes or Open Enrollment classes:
Dedicated Classes – Training for your company of at least 10 employees, at your facility, the college campus or virtual.
Open Enrollment Classes – Individual employees or small groups of employees may participate in virtual classes.

Attendees must be employed by a registered New Jersey business and be paid for the time spent in training. Public and State employees are not eligible for this grant funded training, but there are other options available.
