Front Runner New Jersey Will Host 30 Under 40 Black and Latino Leaders of South Jersey 5‑Year Gala

DEPTFORD – Front Runner New Jersey.com, the news and information website dedicated to covering diversity across South Jersey, will host its inaugural 30 Under 40 Black and Latino Leaders of South Jersey 5‑Year Gala at Adelphia’s Ballroom, 1750 Clements Bridge Road in Deptford, from 6–9 p.m. on Thursday, July 30.

Each year, Front Runner New Jersey (FRNJ) honors outstanding young leaders in the region’s Black and Latino communities through its popular 30 Under 40 column, recognizing excellence, hard work, and determination among emerging changemakers. In celebration of the column’s fifth anniversary, FRNJ is bringing together all past honorees for a one‑of‑a‑kind gathering.

“This will be a night like no other, bringing so many talented young people of color together in one room to celebrate their accomplishments, their future, and their impact on South Jersey,” said Clyde Hughes, founder and editor of Front Runner New Jersey.com. “We hope this evening is not only celebratory but inspirational for the years ahead.”

South Jersey Gas is serving as the event’s Gold Sponsor, with Franklin Bank as Silver Sponsor and Samaritan as Partner Sponsor. P. Kenneth Burns, the award‑winning journalist who covers New Jersey for WHYY Public Radio, will serve as emcee.

Many past 30 Under 40 honorees have gone on to become influential leaders in their communities — including mayors, city council members, school board officials, educators, business owners, nonprofit executives, and other key contributors to South Jersey’s civic and economic landscape.

The gala will celebrate the best of South Jersey’s people‑power while highlighting the bright future these leaders are helping to shape. The last 30 Under 40 Latino Leaders of South Jersey appeared on Sept. 15, 2025 and the most recent 30 Under 40 Black Leaders South Jersey appeared on Feb. 1, 2026.

Early‑bird tickets are available for $125 through June 19, before increasing to $150, and then $175 after July 17. Advertising opportunities in the commemorative 8x11 souvenir booklet include:

$200 for a full‑page ad

$100 for a half‑page ad

$60 for a quarter‑page ad

$30 for a business‑card ad
