SJ Biz Recognizes SVP, Business Lending Team Leader for Third Consecutive Year

SHORT HILLS, N.J. – Christopher Warren, Investors Bank Senior Vice President and Commercial Banking Team Leader, has been named to South Jersey Biz magazine’s Power 50 most influential businessmen and women in South Jersey. Warren has spent the last three decades in commercial, middle market, and merchant banking and has worked extensively with businesses, professional firms, and not-for-profit organizations.

“I am honored to receive this recognition and dedicate it to the many role models who have shaped my priorities including such leaders in southern New Jersey as Susan Asbell and Jack Tarditti,” said Warren. “Investors Bank provides me with the tools, the resources, the leadership and the encouragement to meet the needs of the southern New Jersey business community. I am proud to represent a bank that is dedicated to our great state and committed to making a difference in each and every community. I salute the 49 other award recipients who join me in ‘Powering’ the South Jersey region.”

Warren joined Investors Bank in January 2019, to serve as the Senior Vice President/Team Leader for the commercial banking team in Burlington, Camden, and Gloucester Counties. It was Investors Bank’s long-standing dedication to community involvement, its relevance and commitment to business development, and genuine caring about customers and employees that attracted Warren to the bank.

Warren  actively seeks out opportunities to assist in enhancing the prosperity of the local communities in the region. Investors Bank believes in, and is committed to, its involvement with the communities it serves, particularly through its philanthropy and the time and talent of employees like Warren who are dedicated to making a difference. Warren believes he – and Investors Bank – has an obligation to make a positive difference in the communities where Investors’ employees and customers live and work. Warren works every day to make a significant contribution – in every way possible – to changing the world for the better.

Warren maintains a strong, unwavering and long-term commitment to the community. He is a trustee with a number of organizations, including the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County, The Virtua Foundation, and Oaks Integrated Care. Warren also is a member of the Virtua Health System’s Finance & Investment Committee. He sits on the Board of the South Jersey Bankers Association, and is a member of the Samost Jewish Family and Children’s Services Advisory Board.

As a result of his service and commitment to children, The Boys & Girls Club of Camden County honored Warren at the organization’s annual gala in February 2019, where he was named a “Citizens Champion”. Warren has been a trustee for the organization for nearly 20 years and has served as treasurer. He has been involved in various activities, events and programs with the Boys & Girls Club over the last two decades. Warren became involved with the program because he saw what he describes as “a heart-wrenching disparity” between conditions in the suburbs and the environment in the city of Camden. He said the disparity was especially apparent in the hours after school, when children were vulnerable to life-threatening and life-altering temptations, distractions, and risks.

Warren earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ursinus College, Collegeville, Pennsylvania. He has an adult daughter; he and his wife Elizabeth live in Moorestown, New Jersey.
