Jefferson Health Honors Two South Jersey Colleagues with BEE Awards for Exceptional Patient Care

CHERRY HILL, NJ (Jun. 25, 2026) — Jefferson Health is proud to recognize two colleagues with BEE (Being Extraordinary Everyday) Awards for their outstanding contributions to patient care and their commitment to creating exceptional experiences for patients and families.

Linda Frankenfield of Hammonton, NJ, a patient care technician in the intensive care unit at Jefferson Stratford Hospital, received a BEE Award for the compassionate care she provided to a patient and family during a recent hospitalization. According to the patient's family, Frankenfield went "above and beyond" to address both medical and nonmedical needs, helping create an environment of comfort, trust and reassurance during a vulnerable time. Through her attention to detail, professionalism and genuine concern for others, Frankenfield helped transform a difficult experience into one defined by dignity, comfort and healing.

Montrese Nickerson of Sicklerville, NJ, a unit secretary in the Emergency Department at Jefferson Washington Township Hospital, received a BEE Award for her quick thinking and problem solving. When a patient was unable to recall the name of the physician who performed a recent procedure, Nickerson developed an innovative solution that helped the care team quickly obtain important information needed for treatment. Her initiative helped prevent delays, supported informed clinical decision-making and ensured the patient received timely, coordinated care. Through her resourcefulness, attention to detail and commitment to patient safety, Nickerson demonstrated how every member of the healthcare team contributes to positive patient outcomes.

The BEE Award recognizes non-nursing healthcare professionals and support staff who work alongside nurses to enhance the patient experience through compassion, teamwork, innovation and service. Jefferson's clinical recognition committee in New Jersey selects honorees.

While their roles differ, Frankenfield and Nickerson share a commitment to putting patients first. Jefferson Health congratulates both recipients on this recognition and thanks them for their ongoing commitment to excellence in patient care.
