LAN Associates adds Landscape Architecture to Suite of Services with New In-house Department

Midland Park, NJ – August 6, 2025 – Full-service architecture and engineering firm LAN Associates is excited to announce the expansion of its multidisciplinary services with the addition of a dedicated landscape architecture department. The new in-house team aims to enhance the leading design firm's site development capabilities as LAN continues to experience rapid growth across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

“With the integration of landscape architecture into our existing suite of services, which already includes architecture, civil engineering, surveying, land use planning, environmental services, EH&S, and MEP engineering, LAN will be able to build on our holistic approach to site and building design,” said LAN Chief Operating Officer Steven Ramiza. “Cross-team collaboration has always helped LAN ensure every aspect of a project is given careful consideration and enabled us to provide clients with a clear vision and a smooth design and construction process. By integrating site design with architectural and engineering strategies from the outset, LAN’s landscape architecture department will ensure aesthetic unity, regulatory alignment, and cost-efficiency. Their focus on site analysis and design will ensure that any proposed plantings and hardscape will complement the architectural and engineering designs, as well as the surrounding environment. This will add another layer to LAN’s process for designing resilient, inclusive, and environmentally sensitive projects ranging from school campuses and municipal parks to green infrastructure and streetscape improvements.
