MEND Announces Doug Sell as Board of Trustees Chair

Moorestown Ecumenical Neighborhood Development, Inc. (MEND) announces Doug Sell as Chair of its Board of Trustees. Sell served on the Board before assuming the Board Chair position, previously held by Tom Zemaitis.

Sell is a Director at Bowman & Company LLP, where he joined the firm’s Commercial Department in 2019 after practicing as a sole proprietor for over 30 years. He specializes in tax planning and return preparation, compilations and reviews, and consulting for small businesses.

A Moorestown resident, Sell is treasurer of Interfaith Hospitality Network of Burlington County and First United Methodist Church of Moorestown and is a member of the board of trustees for the Moorestown First Aid and Emergency Squad. He is also a member and past president and treasurer of the Rotary Club of Moorestown.

“We’re grateful to Tom Zemaitis’ board leadership where he reaffirmed MEND’s mission, furthered board engagement and guided the organization,” said Eileen Wirth, MEND’s CEO & President.  “We look forward to Doug taking on this expanded role and working with us to continue the implementation of our updated strategic plan.”

“I’m honored to serve as MEND’s board chair to help carry out its mission of providing safe and affordable rental housing to seniors, the disabled and low and moderate-income families and also look for ways to expand our services to meet the ever-increasing demand for affordable housing,” said Sell.
