Philadelphia Eagles and Hoffman’s Exterminating Agree to Multi-Year Sustainability Partnership
Hoffman’s Exterminating to also serve as an associate partner of the Eagles Youth Football Academy
The Philadelphia Eagles are pleased to announce a multi-year partnership with Hoffman’s Exterminating, a local, family-owned and operated pest management provider. The new partnership is founded on two shared values: sustainability and giving back to the community.
As proud partners of the Eagles, Hoffman’s Exterminating will service Lincoln Financial Field and the team’s practice facility, the NovaCare Complex, with environmentally-friendly pest control products and solutions. A company staple for many years, Hoffman’s integrated management system replaces pesticides and rodenticides with traps, exclusion methods and cultural controls. In addition, an electronic monitoring technology, ActiveSense®, has been installed at Lincoln Financial Field, allowing Hoffman’s to proactively monitor for rodent activity around-the-clock, even when not on-site. The technology from Corteva Agriscience is currently the largest installation in the country.
“As part of our team’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, we are excited to add another layer to our already comprehensive Go Green program with Hoffman’s Exterminating,” said Catherine Carlson, Senior Vice President, Revenue and Strategy, Philadelphia Eagles. “Hoffman’s is a family-owned business with roots in the Greater Philadelphia region that employs an eco-friendly pest management solution to promote a more sustainable environment. We look forward to building on our partnership, which will include Hoffman’s serving as an associate partner of the Eagles Youth Football Academy.”
The Eagles’ Go Green program has been internationally recognized for its commitment to sustainability and ecofriendly measures. Featuring a LEED Gold stadium certified by the U.S. Green Building Council and a GBAC STAR accreditation, the team diverts 99% of waste from landfills and operates on 100% clean energy. The use of organic, eco-friendly products will further assist the Eagles in reducing their environmental footprint.
“We see this partnership as a game changer,” said Bill Hoffman, President and CEO of Hoffman’s Exterminating. “Most of us grew up as Eagles fans, and as businesspeople, we understand the impact their brand will have on helping Hoffman’s continue to earn the trust of our customers. We look forward to great things.” Founded in 1990, Hoffman’s takes great pride in giving back to the community. Their employees are heavily engaged in food drives, military care packages, fundraising, clothing drives and providing for families that sometimes find it difficult to make ends meet. This partnership will allow Hoffman’s to continue its philanthropic efforts. Hoffman’s will make an annual $10,000 donation to the Eagles Autism Challenge and serve as an associate partner of the Eagles Youth Football Academy, helping the team kickoff camps at the end of April.
