Samaritan Hosts Virtual Tree of Life Ceremony to Remember and Honor Loved Ones This Holiday Season

Mount Laurel, N.J. – Samaritan invites community members to take part in its annual Tree of Life: Season of Light illumination program, a time to remember, recognize, and honor loved ones who are no longer with them in this physical world.

The program will be held virtually and is available for viewing starting Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at 7 p.m. on Samaritan’s website: SamaritanNJ.org/Tree. The program will remain up through December 2022 for multiple viewing and sharing.

As part of the program, individuals are invited to dedicate a symbolic light in memory of someone who has passed or in honor of someone special in their life. A full list of these dedications will be featured on Samaritan’s website. Donations can be made online at SamaritanNJ.org/Tree, but are not required to view the virtual event.

All proceeds raised will benefit Samaritan, a local, community based not-for-profit provider of hospice care and grief support, palliative medicine (care), and primary care at home. Donations from programs like this enable Samaritan to provide above and beyond services that support patients and families through serious illness and the end of life.

For more information or to dedicate a symbolic light in this year’s virtual Tree of Life: Season of Light program, visit: SamaritanNJ.org/Tree.
