Samaritan to Host 2022 Virtual Celebration of Life Gala on Saturday, February 12, 2022

Samaritan’s Volunteers to be Honored as Circle of Excellence Award Recipients for Enhancing the Lives of Samaritan’s Patients and Families through their Gifts of Time and Talent

(L to R) Mindy Holman, Holman Enterprises’ Chairman of the Board, stands with Mary Ann Boccolini, Samaritan’s President and CEO, and Jamie Bratton, Innovative Benefit Planning’s Vice President of Marketing & Engagement and Samaritan’s Gala Committee Chair. Holman Enterprises, a gala sponsor since 2008, is again generously serving as the Presenting Sponsor for Samaritan’s Above and Beyond Celebration of Life Gala on Saturday, February 12, 2022.

Mt. Laurel, NJSamaritan will hold its annual Celebration of Life Gala, presented by Holman Enterprises, virtually on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 7 p.m. The Gala, entitled Above and Beyond, is an annual celebration of Samaritan’s 40+ years of providing quality, compassionate care to more than 11,000 families annually throughout Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer counties.

“Our 2021 Gala was such a success that we made the early decision to hold it virtual again this year, so that everyone could participate from the comfort of their own homes,” said Mary Ann Boccolini, president and CEO of Samaritan. “While we may not be dining and dancing in person again this year, we will continue to celebrate Samaritan in a variety of meaningful ways – through presentations, awards, a raffle, an online auction and other special moments together.”

During the 2022 virtual Gala, Samaritan will name their 2022 Circle of Excellence award recipients – the 500 volunteers who go above and beyond to support Samaritan. Presented on an annual basis, the Circle of Excellence award recognizes individuals and organizations who are passionate and dedicated in their service to Samaritan as an organization, as well as the South Jersey community.

“The enthusiasm and passion exhibited by our volunteers is so inspiring. They continue to work hard on behalf of our organization in different capacities, with smiles on their faces, including the volunteer-driven gala committee chaired by Jamie Bratton of Innovative Benefit Planning,” continued Boccolini. “Our volunteers are the heart of our organization, selfless advocates and our most dedicated champions – we wouldn’t be able to do what we do without their support and willingness to help others.”

To further support the Gala’s fundraising efforts, Samaritan will once again hold their Delightful Dining Raffle. Two raffle winners will be announced during the event – at $10 per ticket, this unique raffle offers the chance to win twelve $100 dining gift certificates (valued at a total of $1,200) to some of the area’s finest restaurants. Additionally, Samaritan will once again have an Online Auction of unique items, all in support of the organization’s services and programming. Tickets for the raffle and access to the online auction are available at www.SamaritanNJ.org/Gala. (NOTE: Online auction opens for bidding on February 5, 2022).

Individual tickets for the virtual gala are $225 each. All proceeds from the evening, including the Delightful Dining raffle and online auction, will support direct care for Samaritan patients and their families throughout South Jersey.
