Fifth Annual Tri-State Ability Art Show to MuralArts Philadelphia
Y.A.L.E. School, a community of schools providing a positive approach to learning for students with disabilities ages 3-21, presented a donation of $2,000 to MuralArts Philadelphia. The donation will support MuralArts’ art education programming, which reaches over 2,000 youth in the Philadelphia region each year.
Funds were raised at Y.A.L.E.’s Fifth Annual Tri-State Ability Art Show, held earlier in the year, via donations and sales from art materials created by Y.A.L.E. students. Art Show attendees were able to purchase customized T-shirts and mugs featuring a design created by students at the Y.A.L.E. Ellisburg campus and printed on high-tech equipment at the Y.A.L.E. School Vocational Skills Lab & Co-op in Cherry Hill by students gaining job skills at in the Y.A.L.E. Standard 9 Transition Program located at Camden County College.
