Additional CARES Act Funding Allocated to NJEDA Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program
On November 11, Governor Phil Murphy announced an additional $60 million in CARES Act funding will be directed to fulfill grants from the oversubscribed Phase 3 of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority’s (NJEDA’s) Small Business Emergency Assistance Grant Program.
While this will not open a new application period, this funding will enable the NJEDA to fulfill grants for the entire pipeline of eligible businesses that applied for Phase 3 funding prior to the application deadline, approximately 13,000 additional businesses.
