Stockton Seeks Professionals for ‘Speed Jobbing’ Event on July 30
Stockton University’s GOALS GEAR UP program is seeking professionals from entry-level to the C-suite to inspire and network with local middle to high school youth from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on July 30 at the Atlantic City campus.
The goal of the fourth annual speed jobbing event is to expose youth in grades 7-12 to a variety of careers by interacting with professionals in a range of industries.
The GOALS GEAR UP program at Stockton serves students in the Atlantic City and Pleasantville public school districts by providing participants with a solid foundation to create a school-to-college pipeline designed to empower and equip students with skills and academic ability to successfully complete postsecondary programs leading to flourishing careers.
The annual Summer Academy is a six-week enrichment program where participants attend classes at Stockton’s Atlantic City campus and develop into leaders prepared to navigate higher education.
Throughout the school year, the program hosts a Saturday Academy with events and activities that encourage and promote academic and socioemotional development through individualized academic and career counseling, college essay and FAFSA/HESSA application assistance and more.
