Stockton University’s annual African-American Cultural Heritage Short Course (AACHSC) hosting Black Business Expo and Book Fair
Returning for its second year, the Black Business Expo and Book Fair during Stockton University’s annual African-American Cultural Heritage Short Course (AACHSC) is currently seeking local Black/African-American vendors.
The short course, hosted by Stockton’s Office of Continuing Studies & Adult Education, will feature the expo and book fair alongside a day of interactive workshops that celebrate the history, culture, art, music and leadership of African Americans in southern New Jersey and the greater Atlantic City area.
The expo asks that authors and small businesses bring books, music, jewelry, beauty products, clothes, hair & skin care, art, and more to share in the celebration of African-American culture. In addition to tabling, vendors have the opportunity to help sponsor selected local students’ attendance by purchasing ad space in the course’s large program book “Redefining Green,” a nod to Victor Green’s 1936 “Negro Motorist Green Book.”
This year’s expo and book fair will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, in Stockton’s Atlantic City Campus.
