A FREE family-friendly event
Experience the unique and educational perspective on the Revolutionary War, narrated from the viewpoint of a Black soldier, brought to life by actor Brian Simmons from Living Voices. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Y.A.L.E. School (Young Adolescents Learning Experience) recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand opening of its new Community Peace Labyrinth, a place both students and the public can use for reflection and the practice of mindfulness. The special needs students at Y.A.L.E. School, ages 5-21, took on the ambitious project this past spring to plan, design and build the intricate walking path.

Karen Donnelly, Art Teacher at Y.A.L.E. School’s Ellisburg campus, has been named the recipient of Art Educators of New Jersey’s (AENJ) Secondary Level Division Award.
