RE:                      CCSNJ Positions on the June 16, 2022 Voting Session

The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ) would like to voice our support for the following legislation being discussed today:

  •  S- 142 (Diegnan) - Modernizes business filing statutes to include entity conversion and domestication.
  • S-772 (Pou/Pennacchio) - Directs Department of Agriculture to establish New Jersey Minority, Women, and Underserved Farmer Registry.
  • S-2357 (Madden/Lagana) - Concerns timely payment of UI benefits.
  • S-2590 (Turner) - Makes supplemental appropriation of $1.5 million to provide tuition assistance for students enrolled at Thomas Edison State University.
  • S-2734 (Codey/Stanfield) - Appropriates funds to DEP for environmental infrastructure projects for FY2023.
  • S-2735 (Codey/Greenstein) - Authorizes NJ Infrastructure Bank to expend certain sums to make loans for environmental infrastructure projects for FY2023.
  • S-2770 (Zwicker) - Authorizes NJ Infrastructure Bank to expend certain sums to make loans for transportation infrastructure projects for FY2023; makes appropriation.
  • A-2677/S-1805 (McClellan/Reynolds-Jackson/Sumter/Singleton/Testa) - Requires New Jersey Historical Commission to establish Black Heritage Trail; permits New Jersey Black Cultural and Heritage Initiative Foundation to use funds for markers on certain trail sites; appropriates $1 million.
