The Chamber of Commerce Southern New Jersey (CCSNJ) would like to voice our support for the following bills being considered:
- A-573 (Karabinchak/Freiman/Calabrese) - Provides for expedited construction inspections.
- A-2146 (Reynolds-Jackson/Wimberly/Sumter) - Creates State business assistance program to establish contracting agency procurement goals for socially and economically disadvantaged business enterprises.
- A-3424 (Sumter/Reynolds-Jackson/Moen) - Establishes "Biannual Small Business Matchmaker Initiative" in Department of State.
- A-3912 (Greenwald/Calabrese) - Permits alternating proprietorship of certain wineries.
- A-4151 (Reynolds-Jackson/Verrelli/Wimberly) - Revises certain restrictions on cannabis establishments' owners; expands scope of review of cannabis establishment license applications and related materials.
- A-4295 (Jaffer/Mosquera/Swain) - Adapts new federal partnership audit regime under gross income tax, ends COVID-related State tax extensions, and eliminates requirement to affirmatively elect New Jersey S Corporation status.
- A-4748 (Moriarty/Haider/Sampson) - Enhances customer service experience with Business Action Center in Department of State by collecting and disseminating customer assistance metrics.
- A-4749 (Coughlin/Swain/Timberlake) - Requires NJ Business Action Center to collect and produce certain information to assist small businesses.
- A-4750 (Jaffer/Caputo/Atkins) - Vacant Storefront Registry Program; establishes public database of vacant commercial space for small businesses.
- A-4751 (Mosquera/Speight/DeAngelo) - Establishes mentorship program for new businesses and start-ups.
- A-4752 (Tully/Benson/Chaparro) - Promotes small business Internet presence.
- A-4753 (Freiman/Park/Lampitt) - Allows cure period for businesses to address and resolve certain violations.
- A-4929 (Pintor Marin/Greenwald/Atkins) - Concerns accommodations related to COVID-19 public health emergency for businesses participating in certain State economic development programs.
- A-4957 (Jaffer/Kennedy/Caputo) - Appropriates $64.929 million from constitutionally dedicated CBT revenues for recreation and conservation purposes to DEP for State capital and park development projects.
- A-4958 (Chaparro/Lampitt/Freiman) - Appropriates $17,288,315 from constitutionally dedicated CBT revenues to NJ Historic Trust for grants for certain historic preservation projects and associated administrative expenses.
- A-4959 (Spearman/Reynolds-Jackson/Wimberly) - Appropriates $53,249,310 from constitutionally dedicated CBT revenues to DEP for State acquisition of lands for recreation and conservation purposes, including Blue Acres projects, and Green Acres Program administrative costs.
- S-287/A-2234 (Greenstein/Singleton/McKeon/Timberlake/Calabrese) - Provides CBT and gross income tax credits for certain deliveries of low carbon concrete and for costs of conducting environmental product declaration analyses of low carbon concrete.
