New York Life Insurance Company and Cigna has created the Brave of Heart fund. The goal is to raise $100 million to provide financial support in the form of charitable relief grants to support the families of healthcare workers who lose their lives to COVID-19.

About the Fund

While most of us have sought shelter from the COVID-19 crisis, brave frontline healthcare workers have put themselves in harm’s way to help those who desperately need it - risking their lives every day to save ours.

Together, New York Life and Cigna, through our foundations created the Brave of Heart Fund, dedicated to providing healthcare workers and their families with peace of mind. The Fund is designed to provide financial support in the form of charitable relief grants to support the families of healthcare workers who lose their lives to COVID-19.

In addition, Cigna behavioral health advocates will provide emotional support and services.

If you have lost a family member who is a healthcare worker to COVID-19, or want to stay informed about the Fund, sign up with your name and email to be contacted when the Fund is active. We expect to begin taking financial support applications in May 2020.
