
Assistant Manager Events Services
Posting Summary:
The Assistant Manager, Event Services will report to the Manager of Special Events and Programs. This position is responsible for scheduling, planning, and executing non-academic events on the Camden Campus. This role ensures efficient use of campus facilities, oversees event logistics, coordinates with internal and external service providers, and maintains operational oversight. The role requires the management and execution of well-organized events that align with the university’s objectives, ensuring all activities are professionally carried out. This includes seamless coordination between clients, vendors, and campus service providers to guarantee smooth operations.

Minimum Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience plus as additional two years of work experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word; highly computer literate with ability to master new computer software applications; excellent oral and written communication skills; must work well under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, event-driven environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
