Bookkeeper
Alloy Silverstein, a regional public accounting firm located in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our Small Business Services team to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, clerical, and financial tasks for clients in various industries. Bookkeeper responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling G/L accounts. You will also run accounting software programs (QuickBooks and/or Xero) to process business transactions, like accounts payable and receivable, and disbursements. This is a full-time in-office position in our Cherry Hill, NJ office.
Requirements
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk or Accounts payable clerk
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and or Xero; Minimum 2-3 years experience
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Aptitude for numbers
- Ability to perform filing and record-keeping tasks
- Well organized
- 2-5 years of Accounting/Bookkeeping experience preferred
