Position Summary:
As a Claims Escalation Specialist, you will be the first point of contact in the claims process, ensuring accurate and timely review of new claims. You’ll play a key role in setting the tone for a positive claim experience while ensuring all necessary information is captured and verified.
Please Note: This role includes a structured in-office (Cherry Hill, NJ) training program lasting approximately 4 weeks. Upon successful completion of the training, you will be eligible to work remotely as a Claims Escalation Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and process claims from clients, insurers, and third parties.
- Accurately enter claim details, supporting documentation, and photos into our claims management system.
- Verify property damage information, assess completeness of submissions, and follow up on any missing details.
- Communicate professionally and empathetically with clients, property owners, and vendors to gather additional information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic records, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with supervisors, property inspectors, and other team members to facilitate efficient claims handling.
- Provide clear and helpful updates throughout the claims intake process.
- Support additional administrative tasks and special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; knowledge of insurance, property claims, or related fields are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must be able to obtain state licensure as a claims adjuster.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
