As a Dog Daycare Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for dogs in our care. Your primary responsibility will be to supervise and engage with the dogs throughout the day, ensuring their well-being and happiness. You will also interact with pet owners, providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized facility.

Duties

• Supervise dogs in playgroups to ensure safe interactions and prevent any aggressive behavior.
• Engage with dogs through play, exercise, and training activities to promote physical and mental stimulation.
• Monitor the health and behavior of each dog, reporting any concerns to management promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the daycare facility by regularly cleaning kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
• Assist with feeding schedules and administer medications as directed by pet owners or management.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's day at daycare.
• Perform heavy lifting when necessary, such as moving supplies or assisting with larger breeds.
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for both dogs and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in dog handling or animal care is preferred; familiarity with various dog breeds is a plus.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for tasks such as moving equipment or supplies.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their care and well-being is essential.
• Previous experience working in a kennel or similar environment is advantageous.
